    Unbelievably bad!!

My wife and I ordered a rissotto and Cumberland sausage and mash. I received a child’s plate with nine chips and two overcooked sausages with nuked peas. My wife’s rissotto was boiling in parts and stone cold in others. We took photographs.

As the waitress arrived she said “who’s on sausage and mash”, I said “I am”. She put the plate in front of me. “That’s chips” I said, “not mash!” “We’ve run out of mash” she replied.

When we complained about the size and the crapness of the dishes the manager told we had ordered sausage and chips and produced a till receipt to prove it. If we has ordered chips, why did the waitress say mash? We got our £12 back.

Essentially they attempted to make out we were thick and didn’t understand what we had ordered.

Disgraceful service, shocking food, lying staff and a surly manager.

Wonderful. I will find out who owns this chain and make my views known.. This place should not be allowed to operate.
