    On the A672 at the W edge of Denshaw village, handy for M62 J22, about 1,5 miles away. Small bar with log fire, another small room off. Small restaurant (carpeted) at end of bar. Two beers on handpump, including a beer brewed specially for them by Bazens Brewery of Salford. Good range of lunchtime and evening food, including pensioners’ specials midweek; restaurant is very popular, especially at weekend – best to book. Food is excellent and really good value. Service is friendly and quick.
