White Horse, Swinton,
After using the internet to discover dog friendly pubs around Manchester, we decided (four adults, a toddler and a dog) to give the Whte Horse a try. Contrary to the website, it was NOT dog-friendly. Our dog was not allowed in the building but we were told we could have our lunch in the exterior smokers’ area at the rear of the building. We declined. The area was inches thick in cigarette ends, empty glasses and general mess which suggested the place hadn’t been cleaned in weeks. The interior wasn’t exactly inviting either. Our dog would probably have improved the smell. Should this information on the website be revised?
