Gullivers has changed aince I was last in. A lot! Its been taken over and is now a music pub and venue with a very Punk and new wave feel to it. There are classic posters all over the walls from Joy Division to Led Zep. It reminds me of CGGBs in New York. The music is refreshing. Real alternative stuff plays all the time from 60’s through to now. Apparently they even play unsigned bands on the playlists. There is a great little venue upstairs that looks like a really old punk room from the 70’s. The sound was great and staff friendly. The general atmosphere of the place is relaxed and fun. A real mix of people who love music. Band nights are usually either free or very cheap which is pretty unique in Manchester. Drink prices reasonable for town. Highly recommended!
